In Brazil, while not mandatory the tip almost always appears on the bill as a "Serviço" charge and varies from 10% to 15%.

  • Restaurants: most charge 10% to 12% through the bill. If not, you could leave a tip of approximately 10% of the value of the bill for the waiter.
